Lets get these young women prepped for getting back out there when we can ! Support for our teens.
On the news today there was an announcement that our girls are more likely to see a reduction in their self esteem in the pandemic. The government are going to release a package to support young women.
There will be a bit of a wait!
I like to prevent rather than cure where I can. If you would like to get some of your girls together I will run the course as a group. This reduces the price. I will also add a discount.
It is online ! Not ideal at the moment, but the course is very interactive and holds attention well. I will teach….
1. The basic background of stress. Neuroscience and physiological side of stress. Getting an understanding of it will help. Why we have it, and what may be causing it. Its benefits and drawbacks.
2. Basic facts of stress and the body, nutrition, sleep, exercise, mindfulness and practical tips.
3. The three main types of relaxation. Deep breathing, relaxing the body. Guided imagery and stilling the over thinking brain.
4. Time management methods and how to avoid overwhelm. This can help with study skills. Smart phones, technology and social media and how to have resilience in our modern day world.
5. Improving self-esteem and not worrying about what others think.
6. We will move on to make personal relaxation programme to use whenever it is needed. Giving well being skills and resilience for the ups and downs of daily life.
7. Participants will receive all the course notes via email.
This is a six-session course. Each session is one hour.
